We offer the loan of Digital SLR cameras free of charge for our Yorkshire Photography courses. So if you are not sure on what camera to buy why don't you attend one of our courses, try an SLR for the day and then we can offer expert advice and point you in the right direction.

At Going Digital Photography Courses Yorkshire we like to keep in touch with all our students past and present. I will continue to offer advice on all things photography after you have left the classroom. I have students who I taught at the beginning of GDNE still contacting me and it's a pleasure to offer advice and guidance where I can.
Don't Have a Camera?
Most of our photography courses in Yorkshire begin in the classroom, with a welcome, introduction, then a presentation so that you know exactly what you'll be doing on the day and how to set your camera for predictable results, with detailed hand-outs for you to take home.
After the presentation we'll show you how you use the features of your camera and you'll complete your own 'crib sheet' to supplement your camera manual.
Our tutors are familiar with all the popular makes and models of digital camera, so we'll make sure you know how to use your camera before you begin to take any photographs.
By the end of the morning you will have gained knowledge and technical camera skills preparing for the hands-on experience that lies ahead.

Our practical assignments give you hands on experience giving you the opportunity of putting the theory into practice. Once again there will be hand-outs you can take home with step by step details on how to set your camera up. This is where everything you've been taught on the morning will really drop in to place and we'll have so much fun. When the practical is complete the learning doesn’t stop as we finish off in the class room reviewing your images, this is another great learning experience to highlight any issues you may have and to show you how much you have learned in one day!
